Dragon Eagle Publishing (formerly Harper-Collyns Publishing) is an independent, for-profit company based in Saint Paul, MN dedicated to promoting contemporary fiction by American expatriate authors in China. We publish books that stimulate and enrich public discussion and understanding of the issues vital to Sino-American relations, but we also publish books that are enjoyable to read.

Our backlog contains a wide variety of genres, including literary fiction, sci-fi, suspense/thrillers, cyberpunk, fantasy, handbooks on how to use chopsticks, private emails, interracial hardcore, German expressionism, and even poems. We take pride in giving a voice to forgotten and deceased authors whose literary careers failed miserably in their lifetimes. Out of respect for the dead, all works are presented in their original, unedited, non-proofread form.

In our short history, we’ve accomplished more than we could’ve ever dreamed. We are confident in the innovation and artistic integrity of the authors we represent. We hope that our efforts will build bridges between the Chinese and American people, and our founders hope this mutual understanding will sway the minds of younger generations in the Chinese visa office.
